Rural Hackathon on “Sustainable Rural Development”

This event welcomes all young to think out of the box and take part in brainstorming innovative ideas and solutions with the potential to bring about a boost in the socio-economic activities in Nyabihu District, Western Province of Rwanda.

Focus areas include but are not limited to Health Care, Energy, Communication/Connectivity, Transportation, Climate, Tourism, Logistics, Agriculture, Entrepreneurship, Education/Skill Development and, Safety & Security.

We are looking for 20 youth aged between 18-35 from Nyabihu District and around with an entrepreneurship mindset to turn their ideas into reality. After an intensive two days of hackathon, two team teams  will be rewarded with:

1. Acceleration and idea scalability
2. ABA Community Membership
3. Access to Learning Content on the AdamStart Platform
4. Access to Community Forum
5. Opportunity for more financial and resource investment through Inspiring Futures
6. Access to 3 months of Industry Mentorship and business support
7. Access to Angel Funding and/or Equity Investment
8. ABA Start-Up Ambassador

NB: This is a daily event, food and transport will be covered by organizers.
