A call for application for Safe Gambling Hackathon in Kigali, Rwanda is open.

Global consultancy Crucial Compliance is hosting this interactive forum and event to bring forward ideas which prevent gambling addictions and prevent consumers, in one of the fastest-growing markets in the world, in one of the fastest-growing continents in the world.

This hackathon aims to find ways to mitigate the issues related to problem gambling behaviour including – education and awareness, treating those with gambling problems and using technology and other tools to prevent gambling behaviour from becoming risky in the first place. The gaming market is growing, especially in Africa, and all operators and countries have an obligation to keep customers safe.

We are looking for ideas from individuals or teams, with the lead aged between 18-35 years old in Kigali and surrounding areas with solutions that impact Rwandans.
