Our partners
Adam Bradford Agency is a campaigning communications agency which supports enterprising people to achieve economic and social success.
Their vision is to see business and enterprise recognised as a force for good around the world. The impact-focused consultancy business provides strategic and branding expertise to focused entrepreneurs looking to scale and provides programmatic support to institutions that support entrepreneurs. Rwanda Opportunities Organisation (RwandOpp) partners with ABA in different projects for the development of youth from the rural communities in Rwanda. Rural hackathons and I4Opportunities are two major projects we are partnering with to increase impact in providing a different set of skills and support to shape youth from rural communities in Rwanda as entrepreneurs and makers.
Thousand Hills Hub is a not-for-profit venture located in the Northern Province of Rwanda, Musanze District to empower communities and create sustainable social benefits. We partner with Adam Bradford Agency (ABA) through this hub to give a platform to our youth who participated in hackathons we organize.
ICS is an overseas volunteering programme for 18-25-year-olds (23-35 for Team Leaders), led by VSO and funded by the UK Government. ICS is a development programme that brings together young people from the UK and developing countries to volunteer in some of the poorest communities in Africa, Asia and Latin America. They funded our Green saves project.
TEARFUND is a Christian charity called to follow Jesus wherever the need is greatest. We work tirelessly to help communities around the world escape the very worst effects of poverty and disaster. And we believe that the same people facing these troubles, also have the best idea as to how they can overcome them. Tearfund listens: helping people to rise out of their poverty, utilising their resourcefulness and determination. Tearfund works alongside local churches and other locally-based organisations to help realise these plans for a better future. They funded our Green saves project.
The Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) was launched by former President of the United States Barack Obama as a signature effort to invest in the next generation of African leaders. Rwanda Opportunities Organisation (RwandOpp) is partnering with the YALI-Alumni Chapter of Rwanda in its initiative called “Planting Dreams (PD)” to broaden children’s imagination and to dream big dreams. We partner together to distribute books to different primary schools in Nyabihu District to enable children to imagine the unlimited possibilities of what they can be, and what they can do in the future. We also partner in our library initiative (RwandOpp Youth Library), where different YALI alumni from Rwanda are our book readers during our reading sessions for young children.
MyStory is a social organization that uses stories to inspire, connect and enable young people to bring their dreams to life through telling motivating stories and bringing people together. It aims to contribute to a society where everyone can share experiences and learn from each other by inspiring young people to follow their passions and become confident, productive, and creative through storytelling. We partner with my story Rwanda in our I4Opportunities programme.
Nyabihu District is one of our key partners. We partner together at its YEGO Youth Centre in Karago sector where Rwanda Opportunities Organisation (RwandOpp) operates and through different programs that are being benefited by the youth from the district.
We partner with Image Rwanda Studio Ltd in the learning For Change project that seeks to use art to empower young people from the vulnerable and marginalized communities, to be storytellers who can express their thoughts and aspirations, give a voice to their other women in their communities, and turn art into a living. After the end of the workshop, alumni will be boarded onto IMAGE RWANDA’s contributors community, where they will be allocated both non-paid and paid assignments, access to professional workshops and exhibitions and more.
